Hi guys me again It's been a struggle this past few weeks with the warm weather making me out of breath I have been on Spiriva for a few months yesterday my G.P put me on Seretide 250 please can you let me know of any side effects x

I've been on that for about 5 years now and have found it to be absolutely fine, it doesn't always agree with everyone so keep a note of any changes you encounter and tell your nurse or doctor. The only side effect ive ever had is a very dry mouth but ive found if i gargle some water about 10 mins after taking it then that usually helps. Good Luck with it im sure it will help you with your breathing.

Like Shirley I have been on Seretide 500 for about 3 years as well as Spiriva. I have had no side effects at all. Just read the instruction leaflet carefully and follow it.

I had to have both cataracts removed which the optometrist said was probably down to the long term use of this steroidal med but it would also apply to other similar meds
