I also know that Fomoterol didn't last as long for me as Salmeterol which is how I ended up on Sirdupla (I tried it with the conventional form of Sirdupla).

Has anyone ever been asked to wean off their steroid before being seen by a respiratory team? I have been on Siedupla 250 two puffs twice a day for a long time now plus Spiriva Respimat 2 puffs once a day since the beginning of the first lockdown. It has kept my asthma pretty well controlled. Is anyone out there taking more than 1000mic gram Seritide or direct equivalent Sirdupla per day using an inhaler . This will be the same as 2puffs twice daily of the 250/25 inhaler

This has not been discussed with me and I’m quite shocked to realise this (perhaps I’m being naive and it should have been obvious with the amount of inhalers I’m on …..sirdupla, spiriva respimat and regular courses of prednisolone I have.) it states on the card I’m at risk of adrenal crisis.

I’m a lady in my fifties and have a rare form of dwarfism the syndrome does effect my respiratory and the asthma nurse put me on Sirdupla/fluticasone 3 weeks ago. I have waited for one year to have a full lung function test and sleep apnea test. My peak flow is under 250.

Prior to the sirdupla (which works well for me) I used to double my ICS dose in this situation - but I'm not sure what to do this time? Plus my GP surgery has no appointments, only online e-consult (which I've done!)

I'm currently on relvar and montelukast, having previously tried sirdupla, fostair and clenil (I was on this prior to the attacks).

I've gone from clenil (what I was on when the attacks happened and have been on since I was diagnosed with asthma) to sirdupla, fostair, back to sirdupla due to side-effects from the fostair and I'm currently on revlar, which I started around three weeks ago.

Hi all, I've just been switched from Sirdupla to Forstair, to try and get my asthma under control (ongoing issues for over 4 months). I took my first dose around 11pm and immediately afterwards I felt heart palpitations, and a strange sensation that I'm struggling to describe. Maybe...wired?

GP changed inhaler from sirdupla to sereflo 2 months ago Now getting more mucus and my tolerance to exercise Is significantly reduced Getting some upper chest discomfort after say 5 minutes of exercise Any thoughts?

I've been on montelukast for 8 weeks, which definitely helped make things more comfortable around the house, and my preventer inhaler was switched from clenil to sirdupla 2 weeks ago, so maybe it'll take more time for that change to see results, but I feel completely exhausted by this ongoing nightmare

problems since last September with my asthma nasty cough phlegm/mucus which is yellow ,have been on carbocistien 2x3 a day and montelukast 1 at night for 5 months which did help significantly for quite a while but now relapsed a bit,I was under my asthma nurse for quite a while she increased my Sirdupla

Hi everybody I have had problem with my asthma for over a year breathing not good and the Barky cough and mucus has been terrible, been on carbocistien 2x3 a day and montelukast at night for 3 months,also nurse has doubled my sirdupla to 250 and it has greatly improved I finished the med yesterday thought

breathing,coughing, mucus, had carbocisteine for a month then montelukast for a month now had 2 months on carbocistien and montelukast, she asked me if I have done a sputum test to make sure there is no underlying problem,why didn’t doctors do one months ago is beyond me,she has changed my preventer Sirdupla

Fairly well controlled now unless I forget to take my medication which is , theophylline tablets 500mg per day, Ventolin 100 micrograms and Sirdupla 25mg/125mg inhaler. Dont now how vunerable I am, as ive not had a letter

In the summer of 2018 my doctor changed my preventer inhaler to Sirdupla as I was getting out of breath when exercising and it was a massive game changer for me! I barely used my reliever and was confidently able to cycle, at a good pace, without worrying about getting out of breath. It was great.

I'm wanting to know if anyone has noticed any difference in their asthma when they have been on Seretide 125 then given Sirdupla 125. Does anyone know if these inhalers are the same ? I would be grateful for any comments. Thank you
