I had a vaccine immunity test which test the level of my immune response to covid 19 vaccine (Astra Zeneca) my level was 422 ul/ml is this good ?
The result confirmed that I had generated antibodies but doesn’t indicate if this is a high enough response. Has anyone else had this test or have insight to my result?
Thanks guys
Hope your all doing well

Took a bit of digging around but ultimately they are not sure at what point is considered a “good” response. Only solid numbers of what the result could be between I could find is on this page theindependentgeneralpracti...
Where did you get your test? I’m rather interested to find out my own response in a hope that it reassures me about getting out and about.
Hey Thanks for that. However that test is to check for antibodies if you contract covid. I’m screwed if the numbers are the same for covid vaccine as I only had a 422 ul response 😮💨
I used a company called monitor my health. They are a Nhs lab and really avoidable. Only thing is that don’t offer any interpretation regarding results. Just give you a number and say “positive result of immune response “ or negative
I want to know if my immune response is good and protective
Oh shoot, afterwards I found another that does post vaccine antibody testing. It was still same figures. Ultimately, you won’t get much of a guidance at present because the research side is lacking. There was one lancet article I came across while I searched and it basically says they don’t know what level is ok.
Do you mind me asking are you on maintenance oral steroids or take them often?
I had a good look on the Internet about these tests but, again, hit a brick wall as to how to interpret the results. I did notice that "not enough is known yet" about how antibody levels can be measured in terms of future protection and "more research is needed". So while companies are flogging these tests, they don't really provide any knowledge beyond a negative or positive result and that the result scale being used goes from 0 ul/ml to 2,500 ul/ml. As to whether anyone can score 2,500 ul/ml is another matter as no one has published that info.
Hi Dogruff, I’ve found this article about how to interpret the results, maybe it gives you an idea. Just copy and paste it in your browser.Coronavirus (COVID-19) Antibody Test | Jenhams Clinicjenhamsclinic.co.uk › other-services › coro...Your result will lie on a scale between 0.4 units per millilitre (U/ml) and 2,500 U/ml. A result below 0.8 U/ml means that the lab did not find antibodies in ...
