Some people feel they may have so it's possible but it's never really possible to know whether it was the vaccine or not (unless someone had a massive immediate emergency type reaction - I guess that would be more obvious!)
As with any possible triggers (and often I don't know what mine are), just treat as you normally would.
Hi CarnLesBoel Yes I have experienced a flare up after my Covid vaccination. My asthma is usually extremely mild but a couple of days after my jab I became short of breath. I was given steroids for 5 days and my doctor has prescribed the Fostair inhaler. I thought it was a coincidence but have heard this has happened to others. Either way just taking the new inhaler and waiting for it to kick in. Hope you're ok.
I feel the same, my asthma has never been controlled but I had my vaccine about a month ago and it left me feeling awful and ever since my asthma has gotten worse fast but it might just be a coincidence. I think they should investigate it really. Hope you’re feeling better.
I agree.Interestingly I’ve been contributing to C - 19 by Zoe for a year now and I notice that they’ve recently added a more comprehensive post-vaccine symptom/side effect, one of which is about allergies being exacerbated.
The second Sahara dust cloud hit on 1st April and so I’m struggling again.
Considering that we get this dust several times a year it’s interesting that it’s only now that it’s become a trigger.
