I can't tell you the amount of times ivee been to the gp just so they can listen to my chest thinking i might have an infection qnd they've said top to bottom crackles, have some antibiotics and pred.
As the saying goes, best to be safe than sorry!
call ooh now. if you feel rubbish and peak flow low then you need to get it sorted strait away. if you leave it, it'll just get worse and take longer to recover. i've learnt the hard way, so please call ooh now. take care of yourself. xx
Please get help, call OOH GP if you are feeling so bad, I have learnt the hard way in the past by not getting help to me.
Do call them it is better to be safe than sorry, get yourself checked out.
I went to a drop in centre on 15th August, they asked me if I had a chest infection. They put me on a nebuliser, gave me some predisolone & sent me home still wheezing.
On the 28th I ended up going to A&E, was on 2 nebulisers, blood test & xray (to check for chest infection) & fluids to cool me down. I was sent home with antibiotics & predisolone. I've also been told to go STRAIGHT back if it gets bad again.
If the drop in centre treated me properly none of the above would have happened.
