Relvar is now quite a commonly used preventer inhaler but, as with all asthma meds, it's personal as to how well it helps different people - hopefully this will be the one for you! I guess all you can do is try it for 8 weeks or so and closely monitor symptoms and peak flow and review things after the embedding period. I hope it goes well for you!

Relvar has worked reasonably well for me. Been on it for about 2 years. .Still have asthma attacks and flair up wirh the bronchiectasis but overall doing better.

Starting it today. On a clinical trial with a smart device to connect to phone. Hoping it works well

hi i just started Relvar. This is day 4 for me. Changed from fostair. So far i'm liking it. I have a lot of mucus build up too and this has dramatically reduced over the last few weeks. However i have been on a course of prednisolone too which has of course helped with mucus reduction. I've been signed off work too, am a social worker , have been for 3 weeks now as i was getting dally asthma symptoms and feeling very unwell. Good luck with Relvar. Hopefully it will help us both

I have been on Relvar for four years. It made a big difference to me and meant I could keep going to my running group without having an asthma flare up at every session. Fortunately a good nurse as opposed to the previous one who suggested I stop running!
