I use a spacer which helps me get more of my inhalers down to keep my asthma at bay. You can get a spacer from your doctors just requested one. I have two so I have a spare one when I am cleaning one I can use one

Sorry but you cannot use a spacer with Relvar Dry Powder Inhalers.

One of the problems with Relvar is covering the air inlet with your fingers or just not breathing in at the right moment.

Hi Camilla I use the Relvar 184/22, was on 92/22 for 6 months but needed to take my rescue a lot. I feel so much better on the 184. My asthma nursevgave me a dummy inhaler to make sure I was using it correctly. The secret is to breath out as much as you can then breath in closingbyour lips overvtge hole and avoiding the air vents. I taste the powder too but I am obviously taking enough into my lungs cos I only take my rescue inhaler twice a day now and hopefully I can reduce it to once. Make sure to gargle after using as this will prevent hoarseness and thrush. Hope this is beneficial to you😀

Yes it is. I am used to the pumps with the spacer. But I have learnt that there's different types of inhaler's

There are so many different types but I think the flip top ones are going taking over from pumps. If you need any help just let me know.
