Isotretinoin/Asthma

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone have an idea if Isotretinoin (treatment for acne) causes chest tightness or shortness of breath?

I am not able to differentiate if this is my asthma or med side effect!

Thanks,

Google it maybe? But even if it's not a listed thing, it doesn't mean it isn't that doing it as the the listed things are just what's been reported (whether related or not to a drug actually!)

Does it coincide with starting it?

I note that it contains soya. Even though shortness of breath isn't listed as a known side effect, if you have a sensitivity to soya or any of the other ingredients then it can trigger asthma symptoms.
