I've recently been prescribed fexofenadine, yet box says not to take it 2 hours before or after indigestion remedies so assume that omeprazole counts being a PPI or by indigestion do they mean like gaviscon liquid ect ?
I'm struggling with the 2 hour gap as I end up forgetting so end up not taking it regularly. 🙄

I've been on both for a few years and until earlier this year I didn't know it was a guideline 😬🤣I've not had an issue and have carried on taking them (fexo and omep) at the same time.
Actually whenever in hosp they have dolled them out together as well. In case any of that helps...!
I’m the same as twinkly I didn’t know that until very recently and I’ve been absolutely fine on the few occasions I’ve taken fexodenadine & lansoprazole together ! So much easier to take together!
If it helps I take fexofenadine in the morning and I have to take lansoprazole at night, if that doesn’t work for you maybe try setting an alarm to remind you to take it.
I did wonder if that's what they meant as indigestion remedies would stop indigestion when you have it yet PPI is a preventative 🤷 I'm gonna go with that thank you 😊
The practice nurse explained to me that Omiprozole and the like prevent the body absorbing other medications so best to take it separately. So I take the omiprozole before dinner and the Fex before bed. 👍
