Just received text from NHS. It says I must stay at home and will receive more info about my health condition. Is this what others received. I am assuming that I have now been confirmed as in highest risk catergorgy and need to stay in for 12 weeks.

Yes, a few on the BLF GROUP have received texts instead of the letter we were promised. 🤗

Thanks for response, was your text as short. I wasn't sure if it was a general email but then it does mention your health condition. The NHS website link looked more general.

Yes, the government document on shielding does mention going in the garden. It's ok just stay away from others.

At the news conference where the letters were mentioned, it was explained that some would come as digital communications initially to get the message out more quickly, followed up by letter. But the " more info " is presumably this

Thanks, I'm just coming off course of steriods after asthma episode and wanted to speak to doctor about stepping down preventer. Receptionist said my text was general. Just in case anyone else received general. Going on asthma UK advice from Sunday I'm expecting to be contacted, on 250/10 flutiform and also on Montelukast.

Still not overly clear if I have received text or not. Not sure if wording depends on the region. Im in nottingham.

This is what I received

Staying in helps you stay well and that will help the NHS too. You can open a window but do not leave your home, and stay 3 steps away from others indoors. Wash your hands more often, for at least 20 seconds.

Just in case missed post response to twinkly 29, to confuse matters NHS has sent out wider text to public in general to stay out. Would have been better to just leave public announcement to the government text
