Is this text generic? Or should I be shielding?

I received these texts from NHS ( pics added) and as advised I downloaded the NHS app. It allows me to view my medical record, which I did. My record states ' high risk category for developing complication from coronavirus disease 19 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection'

I havent received a letter, however, we have been having issues with our mail deliveries for over a year due to a very difficult neighbour next door. I've rang my surgery to query it but havent been called back yet, no surprise given how busy they are. Any advice?

Thanks in advance

Whilst I cant verify whether these texts are true as I have not seen them. The NHS App is official and run by NHS Digital, they put the shielded persons list together. The terminology that government is using as 'high risk category' is mentioned here: nhs.uk/conditions/coronavir...

This explains you would need to shield.

Thanks for your help

Hope you manage to get through soon! Where does it show that you’re in the high risk category on the NHS app? I have the app but I don’t think my GP surgery has enabled me to see everything x

I just clicked on the medical history tab., then consultations and events. It lists every appointment, prescription request, telephone communication etc. I'll try n add a photo of the entry

I received a text last Monday from the NHS coronavirus service to inform me I’ve been identified as someone at risk of severe illness if I catch coronavirus. The advice was specifically to stay at home for a minimum of 12 weeks. That was followed up by one from my GP on the same day with the same instructions. There are further texts after these instructing you how to shield and coping strategies etc. The letter came a day later. From all the texts I have received, I’ve not seen those ones that you have. Not surprised your confused 😐

I got my text Monday week from NHS Coronavirus Service informing I'd been identified as someone in high risk. It was then followed by another on the same day. 2 the following and then they have continued. All the following ones give advice as to what to do re shielding and coping strategies . I did get my letter some days after. I've not had that text above.

I received these texts but I also received the text that stated specifically that I had to remain home for 12 weeks. They came from two different sources, but both NHS.

No these are the generic texts, not the high risk one.
