Hi all: for those who take Phyllocontin, all versions (Continus and Forte) are out of stock till mid to late July. Had trouble getting mine, so as advised by AUK called the pharma company and they told me that.
They advised me to contact my Dr and ask for an alternative so trying Nuelin. Was advised to start on lower dose and go up slowly as the strengths are diff so expecting a rocky few days given I am going to be missing probably both doses today.
Thank you for letting us know. I take Phyllcontin but am ok for the moment. My son takes Nuellin, it’s very good. Hope you get on ok.
Thank you! Glad you have enough, hope things are all sorted by the time you have to reorder. Good to know your son gets on well with Nuelin as I have never heard of it before. Who knows, maybe it will be better than Phyllocontin and I won't want to go back...

I was on phyllocontin but I stopped when I was put on Mepolizumab.
I am on Montelukast which many on here are having trouble getting from their chemists but luckily I am not having problems at the moment.
My son-in-law works in the pharmacy in a large London hospital and he says he has 180 drugs that they are having trouble sourcing.
There do seem to have been more shortages but 180 drugs! I've had no problems with montelukast (it would actually be less of an issue for me than Phyllocontin shortage - for me montelukast is an 'icing' drug ie useful but not key.) Sadly not eligible for any biologics due to the wrong kind of asthma.
Incidentally I was told Phyllocontin issue was due to a package labelling issue not manufacturing - unsure of the precise situation but very annoying especially given my pharmacy didn't bother to tell me anything at all.
