Just letting you know, since I’ve stopped taking 4 puffs a day and now just 2 of the fostair 100/6 my lightheadedness and dizziness have got a load better,.... not perfect but I can live with that, at least I can breathe and feel half right now✌️

IMHO it is the formoterol in the Fostair that makes you lightheaded/dizzy. I had something similar with a similar combo. IMHO don't know why docs these days go straight to the combo inhalers. They should start with pure ICS. If your flare is fully controlled I think you should try switch to pure beclomethasone such as QVAR, Becotide or generic equivalent. Makes sure you start at a decent dose - 100 2 puffs twice a day minimum, maybe more. You gradually reduce to the lowest level that works when fully controlled.

In the US they can patent and market the combo even though each separate piece is generic. If a doctor writes a combo pharmacy cannot substitute two generics. It's a little loophole they drove a truck through and drove out many generic. There is no generic becl in US since 20 years.
