I was changed to Fostair 100 a couple of years ago & have noticed I bruise easily. Could this be the Fostair or just getting older causing it. Asthma review was a questionnaire last year & my GP surgery is closing at the end of the month, currently being registered with a new surgery.

Fostair 100/6
I bruise much more easily since starting Fostair. I think it's the steroids.
Me too!
I take 200/6 fostair and look like a battered wife! Have tried to reduce my intake a few times because of this, but totally unsuccessful.
Thank you thought it might be, I was getting concerned as I even bruise where my dog jumps up.
Yes. I’m on fostairnexthaler 100/6 and I bruise easily. Bruises even appear for no apparent reason coincidentallytheybPpeared after changing to fostairnexthaler but could be due to long term steroid doses. Take care. X
Most (or all) standard preventer inhaler for asthma have steroids in them and steroids can affect your skin after some time, though I don't think it happens fast at all with inhalers. Oral steroids do it far more quickly. Sadly it is a well known effect with steroids. And yes I have it too. Add to that my age and sun damage to the skin....... I am slowly getting an impressive scar or two from skin tears, which can also come with taking several courses of oral steroids.
