Other than Oral Steroids, anyone found any good Meds / Nasal Sprays that help with the loss of Smell / Taste?
As well as Asthma, have lost sense of Smell and (most) sense of Taste. Have declined Sinus Surgery for the time being (as many Medics seem to think that the results are hit and miss, and that symptoms often return within months or a year or two). MRI shows grounds for sinus surgery and also have one or two small polyps. However, my nasal airways are generally clear, although I do get Post Nasal Drip.

I've been prescribed Nasonex (mometasone furoate) which has been very good for me. I don't have polyps but it is used for those. It sorted out my post nasal drip & I actually smelt the Christmas cake baking last year. Lovely!
Hello, I've had polyps removed, 2 years ago but still use Dymista to keep my sense of smell as pollution and pollen both affect it. I also use the Neil Med nasal rinse which I think is helping as I'm going through a bad patch at the moment.
