Travel advice for Japan

I'd really appreciate advice about travelling for three weeks in Japan, including Tokyo, a well known smog spot, and Kyoto in November this year. I use a Fostair inhaler and Montelukast tablets with Ventolin for back up but my asthma is controlled at present. Has anyone suggestions for coping with pollution?

I found Tokyo fine last year, very clean compared to London. Apparently can be a bit smoggy with bad weather, but I had no problems. It's a fantastic city, have a wonderful time.

Hi. I was in shanghai for 3 weeks and my asthma wasn't affected TBH. Though it was well controlled before I went. Have a great trip, it sounds exciting. Oh, there is an app you can down load to keep an eye on the pollution levels (maybe don't go for a rum on those day). Good luck.

I'd suggest always having rum everyday it's good for the circulation...😉

Went to Japan during cherry blossom time and was absolutely fine . Very clean and hygienic country . About half the locals wear masks ,especially on the Tokyo metro so not to spread germs ! Enjoy.... Marilyn
