I started Xolair 4 months ago, goodbye to Ventolin, pred, nebs, green color inhaler and from 6 puffs of symbicort a day to 2 if I remember. Stone and a half weight loss and feel like I have my life back. Anyone else had such a good reaction.

I've been on it for two years it has helped but not as much as you, I wish it did. I have three injections every four weeks, I do however feel that I have both allergy induced asthma and some other sort because through the summers my asthma was much better but now with the cold weather and the colds that are going around I'm not having a good time.

I have to say it has slightly improved my quality of life.

I hope it continues to help you too.

So pleased for you Breathagain, that's an amazing outcome. My student son started Xolair 3 years ago and it turned his life around. He is still on maximum medication and has bad asthma with colds etc. But it isn't the crippling condition it used to be.

That's fantastic- great to hear your achievements post Xolair.

I'm coming up to two years on it now. I'll admit it did wonders like yours are the start and my quality of life was way better. However it's making me feel more ill than better at the moment but that's from the uncommon side effects that I just had to have. Glad yours has gone so good though!! (I'm on the max dose)
