Is the cold snap a trigger? Very achey tight chest and wheezing I think I need steroids.

100% it is! It's one of the worst as well. Cold weather clamps your chest up terribly. If you can stand it (personally I cant!!) try putting a scarf over your mouth or something that stops the icy air, otherwise just try not to expose yourself to the cold air more than you need to.

In addition to the effects of the cold, remember as well that cold air often traps pollutants closer to ground level, so things like freezing fog are double trouble.

Oh I see, thanks. I live in the countryside so we have a lot of mist and fog over the grassland :-( I usually suffer in the winter but this year I seem to have been suffering all year so was confused on whether it was the weather
