weather again
Yep My lungs are predicting a thunder-storm. Hopefully if it does rain, at least things will settle afterwards.
Yes, why can't we have some real summer instead of ridiculously humid then thunderstorm? We had a storm last night but it's still pretty humid, though feeling lucky that chest isn't quite as grumpy as it has been before with weather like this.
Yes I'm really struggling too - feel really wheezy and my coughing is driving my boyfriend crazy! Bring on the autumn! I hope you feel better soon - it's meant to get cooler and less humid at the weekend
I feel the same. Started on sunday and had 11 attacks since. I went to my docs on monday and he gave me the usual pred and oxytetracyline. I'm already on 200mg brown inhalers twice two times a day and molucast. Am still having attacks whilst on them. Jus wondered what nxt can I do. I am managing to get my attacks under control but feel so tired, weak and my chest feels so battered its untrue. I jus want this to stop now, its affecting everything that I do x
Eugh, horrible night last night, felt I had my spacer clamped to me like a pig's snout most of the night! Off to the docs today, glad she wanted to see me now. I'm thinking of offering my luings to the met-office to aid in their weather forecasts. Should work better than a piece of seaweed.
Not sure if its the weather as new to this, just diagnosed last year. Really breathless after waking up,wheezing like a good un.
god im really struggling today and im so fed up. the stairs are making my chest feel like its caving in and im having to stop every step. this is one bad day
the weather forecast has just said that the pollen count is going to be really low tomorrow but its been raining all day so it should have been ok, so i cant understand why its so bad. hope others are finding it bit easier today xxx
Heat, humidty and hayfever! Don't you just love the summer! My chest is bad , my sinuses worse and my throat has given up the ghost. So I know exactly where you're coming from.
Take care.
Dave.
Hmm hadn't even thought about the weather till I read this thread, then we had thunderstorms last night and I felt much better afterwards, until this morning when it was back to its worst!! Maybe this is why mine is playing up.
I'm still on a journey of discovery after being diagnosed last year and this year has been significantly worse than last year
Yep, worse from end of last week. Had a few good weeks after last pred. and starting atrovent inhaler. Been so muggy, hot and pollen/air pollution sits around in bowl shaped geography here. Asthma nurse called back and asked the same. Also bad with sinuses, sore throat and mouth with oral thrush Yippee and off I go for ENT surgery next week
*Edit to add, cooler and damp today but still humid/muggy...
Concrete waistcoat these last few days. Back to creeping up the street. So not good when OH went off in a huff about something. He was miles away in seconds. Caught up eventually at really busy road crossing. Asked what had kept me. Grrr.
Hi
Things are not so good for me at the moment, but not nearly as bad as they were 12 months ago. I've had a few problems recently with needing more salbutamol and not having as good as control as I did.
I'm starting to think that one of the problems is the constantly changing weather conditions!!
Hate this weather so much and spending as much time as I can at the ice rink as I can breathe there!
Same here - humidity really annoys my lungs. Heat is fine for me not not humidity..... Weather is a bit odd atm - hoping it settles down for us all. xx
