Are massages any good?

Hi I've just been on steroids for a week and have coughed non stop all week, I was wondering if anyone thought a back massage might ease the tension and aching in my back ?

i really like massages, i've had a few. i find they do make me more relaxed but when i had my bad back ( i know it's different) i only found that physio / chiropractic helped

I find massages help my back pain and tensions in the muscles (although mine are mostly related to the spinal tumour).

No harm in trying would be my suggestion.
