Symbicort 400/12

Is anyone having problems accessing Symbicort 400/12. My pharmacy has told me this morning that there is a general supply issue across my city, so assuming it is a national problem too. And doesn't know when it will become available.

I didn't have a problem 3 weeks ago, due to order mine next week so I shall let you know. I'm in the south west.

I picked up 2 Symbicort 400/12 turbohalers today that I ordered on Monday, so I don't think there is a problem in my part of the country (Devon)

I've had all mine this month, no problems (in the South East)

I've just put in a repeat prescription for 400/12 symbicort - the one I rely upon most for regular control - ( plus other medications to relieve asthma) to my local pharmacist here in the heart of the Midlands.

Rather annoyingly I've allowed myself to go down to my last symbicort inhaler, only because I thought I ought to use up all inhalers and also ventolin nebules as part of a spring clean and a sort of, saving - the - world carbon footprint whatever.

Hmmm. Bad timing perhaps.

There was a bit of an issue getting one of my 400/12s last week. I asked for my usual repeat of 2 to last me a month, and one came on time but the other one took a while. I did get it eventually though, about a week after ordering.

This is in Oxfordshire btw. I really hope that your pharmacy gets them in ASAP for you, even if they have to get it from somewhere else!

Hope you get the issue resolved soon katina. But no supply problems here in Glasgow at present .

I picked up a couple today without any difficulties (London).

Trouble is, that I think chemists will stock according to what they know people will need. If issues are showing in some areas and not others - could it be that it could be due to pharmacists managing stock needs so delaying the issue? Hopefully, stocks will mean that most don't encounter any issues if any problems are short-lived.

Well I did get my Symbicort 400/12, but as soon as I got mine, my poor pharmacist ran out again, and was going to have to plead for some more. Astra Zeneca says it limits supplies in order to make sure that their drugs don't get sent abroad. So next month it is possible I could face a struggle getting them again, my pharmacy says this is on going. Looking for an alternative. But not having any luck!

Thankfully I managed to pick up my Symbicort 400/12 inhalers today from the local chemist. North west Leicestershire seems OK.

Hope everyone else gets their Symbicort soon.

I am at university in Aberystwyth and i have managed to get it here relatively easily sometimes i have to weight a day or something but i tend to get it fine. I have problems getting it at home in Flitwick though.
