Has anyone had side effects when taking symbicort? Is it just me? Or do side effects ease after a couple of weeks on the med?

No I don't get any help with it. I'm not sure what help there is. I try to fight on through it as I know it's just caused by my inhalers.

Hope your anxiety improves. It's not fun is it. Thanks for answering my questions.

No it not fun, I never really had anxiety untill I was put long temp prednisolone and that has made it 100 time worse today was my last day of weaning off them. Sonic hoping in a few days things will start to get better

I'm not sure what side effects you are getting. For a long time I had a dry throat and dry voice. I was able to prevent this by gargling with water after taking Symbicort.

Yes. That's the advice given. Thanks.

I experience hoarse voice and rinsing doesn’t completely solve it. I also get jittery and palpitations which were worse when I first used it and then eased a bit over time.

I persisted for 9 wks. I just really wanted something to work. Dizziness, bad head aches and most importantly chest pain was terrible. Went from symbicort highest inhaler dose to Seretide highest inhaler dose. It contains different medications. It’s worked so very well for me. No side effects at all!

You're lucky, digdig123. I was switched from seratide to symbicort. Hate it. It has given me heart palpitations, headaches, hand tremors and muscle cramps. They refuse to put me back on seratide even though I was much better on it and only needed 1 puff twice a day.
