Just wandered if anyone could recommend a good company for travel insurance. We are going to America in April and I want to make sure my son who is 6 is adequately covered as we have had several hospital admissions in the last couple of months. I had a couple of online quotes which were hundreds of pounds!!
Any advice would be gratefully received, thank you.

I had good luck with Barclays travel insurance when I've used them in the past. I get it as part of my bank account package now but when I was pregnant with the first DH & I took out couples insurance for a trip to Corfu and they were good then.
Hi Clare, This has come up several times before. If you put 'Travel Insurance' into the Search box on the left hand side of this page, it will bring up the other posts (some recent I think).
Thank you for taking the time to reply. Geina I am so glad you mentioned Barclays as I had forgotten we have an additions plus account with them and they were very helpful so I am all sorted now!
I asked the same question a few months back, another auk member found one that offered me cover for under 100 pound for insurance to america! They were a small specialised company for people with medical problems.
Get a quote I was certainly surprised after getting quoted over £500 from some companies!
