My family have annual world wide travel insurance and I have just phoned to update insurance company that my daughter now has a mepo injection as well as three inhalers and steroids and they will not insure her out of Europe.
This is meant to be a specialist company for health conditions as my husband has a heart condition.
We have a holiday booked in Barbados so need to find cover.
Has anyone else had problems and can anyone recommend a company that will insure her.

Travel insurance can be very annoying, even the specialist ones! I have had specialist ones refuse to.insure me due to a recent medication change or an appointment on a fixed date, even though I know the date and haven't booked a holiday then.
I would look for a specialist insurance broker at this point as they can take in all your requirements and try to get the best price . I used one called Manor Insurance (also called travelinsured.co.uk which is how I found them, but the broker's email said Manor). They were helpful and actually seemed to understand the issues.
Good luck - it's always stressful doing this I know and the questions can be so badly written and vague so you don't know what they mean.
I was looking for travel insurance recently and was advised to try B insured , you can call them on 0845 842 0000 and ask to speak to Wendy. She was absolutely lovely and helpful.
I have always used all clear. However I won't again and really need to look elsewhere. I phoned them after my last admission now 2 and they charged me an extra yes extra £304!!! It's a year world wide. Tried to cancel as finishes in August and re do but still no brainer worked out lot more and got so little back...
If you have a Barclays current account they do a Travel Pack for £12.50 month. t includes travel insurance, RAC, plus other benefits. My husband has heart problems, Copd, rhuematoid arthritis and I have asthma. It's all covered with by their medical screeming team. Good luck.
No just the standard Barclays current account. You will need to bank with Barclays. We had similar with Nationwide, but they needed us to top up for some conditions but they wouldn't cover my husband's heart problems, Barclays did, via their Travel Pack.
