sick not happy

yeah well mom took me to the doctor i have pneumonia i am on antibiotics and i am taking neb treatments 6 times a day and mom is fuzzing over me like crazy she hears a wheeze and she comes running and daddy is not far behind so will and daddy has been watching cartoons with me all day you would not think i was 14 more like a 5 yrs old today

Sorry to hear that. Look on the bright side. If they are fussing over you and if they hear you weeze and come see if you are ok, at least you know that if you get really bad and cant talk then they will come to check on you.

Lightning, You sound like my 14 yr old son, he gets annoyed when I ask him if he's ok.You have obviously been quite poorly so I'm not surprised your parents are worried and make a big fuss of you. You must remember us parents really really care, we love our kids like mad and it's hard for us when they are ill. I think it's nice your dad watched cartoons with you - mine never did!! Hope u feel better soon. xx

It might be annoying to you which is understandable, but tbh I envy you for having such caring parents!

I had breathing/heart complaints almost all my life, but my parents never really cared and here I am with bad asthma now!

Just like the others say, cheer up & appreciate it!

Hey, Lightning, if you don't want your mum and dad fussing over you could I borrow them for a bit, please?

I've always had to be the fusser and I'd LOVE a chance to be the fussee for a day, and have people play board games with me, watch stupid TV that I like and give me hugs and tempt my appetite with many tasty treats.

I guess it must be irritating sometimes, but make the most of them - they love you lots!
