Hi Everyone

I have spent the last few days visiting this site and have found comments on your forum very helpful and answered alot of questions i had.

Just a quickie on the shock factor Christmas day Cough and Wheeze [no cold] 30th Jan sent to hospital spent 7 days in a ward with Norvo Virus [trying not to catch it] steroids and nebs felt better but not able to sleep.

Since i have been home back on steroids and nebs as i am finding it difficult to do anything with out coughing or wanting to sleep, till results from CT scan and Bird blood test through then i will get to see the specialist. My GP tried to push for this week as i feel rough.

Well just one question really till i get to know you all , when my youngest son was little he had broncitis all the time then when he was five he was diagnosed with Asthma. When he was 21 he went to live in Eugene Origon USA and 18 months after moving there he didnt even need to use an inhaler any more and has had no more attacks either, as he is now 36 thats nearly 14 years free of symptoms. So does climate help that much?

I did a Google on Eugene and found some folk are bothered with asthma and allergies and some are not. From the forums I read, the folk there seemed to be saying its something to do with grass burning in the south (?) which the north end doesn't have. And maybe the rain.

Anyway it sounds a fascinating place to stay. There are some forums on the web where people are asking about Eugene as a place to stay. Almost found myself wanting to move.

i was hopeing for something more positive before i asked him if i could go to live with him.

Well feeling so rough maybe just dreaming of living there might have made me feel better.

Not working so will have to find some thing else. Looking forward to meeting more of you
