Does Methotrexate cause itchy skin?

My arms have been itchy for about two weeks now. So much so that I have scabs. I'm making appointment with Rheumy but I thought I'd try here. .

I don’t take MTX, but it’s often discussed on another forum I’m on -and if you look at the patient information leaflet you find itching listed as a side effect…uncommon but there.

I had a rash in inner thighs but no itching. Been taken off methotrexate as liver results 10 times the normal levels.
