I’m a first-timer and have a dilemma. My Rheumatologist feels I should go on a biologic after many years on Methotrexate & now Plaquenil. She suggests Orencia. Would appreciate receiving advice from anyone taking this drug for RA and if so, in what form - infusion or injection. Thanks.

I do Cosentyx injections at home its a preloaded pen.
Here the issue I see with infusion if the covid starts running rampant again it could affect you getting your infusions when they start closing medical places up again and you don’t want to start these biologics and stop them abruptly because its been known to make your current pain levels 100xs worse if you just stop.
Doing at home injections (a pain at first) but once your comfortable it’s easy and if you can I would order through and online pharmacy (I do) and my script has not been bothered by covid.
