Hi everyone, hope your all safe and well. Could someone please help with a question. I am 53 this year and never had any problems with my health. Just lately I have experienced a lot of pain around my knee, hands and arms. I started wearing a wrist band that I think helps a lot and now wear one just below my right knee. The feeling I get is like water around the joints mainly fingers and my knee. This has just got much worse since being off work. I struggle getting up and down the stairs or just getting up.

Have I got arthritis
If the pain is both knees ,hand and arms then it's most likely RA. With Ra it hits both sides at the same time. OA dose not . It acts differently than RA does. But both RA and OA can get aggressive. I suggest you see your family doctor first to bring it to there attention. Mine started on me before I was even forty. Hope this helps you. Good luck . J . Quinn
Sounds like it could be rheumatoid arthritis. I was diagnosed in my mid 30s, I'm now 57. Worth getting it checked out by your GP.
I first had pains in my joints in my thirtys, you do need to see your GP about your pain sadly right now your options may only be pain releif till lockdown is over. You could try some of the other Arthritis remedies like Tumeric , CBD oil or capsules, heat , acupuncture ect there are many options on Arthritis Action Charity Site on line and I beleive they are still giving advice by telephone there are also a few videos to watch which might distract your mind from the pain. There are several new creams available on line at a moderate price, but if it is RA you may need anti inflammatory drugs. Knee supports have a small part to play in lessening pain. You need to try different things but definately speak to your GP. Best Wishes for finding some releif for the time being till you can see a specialist.
