Anybody had surgery for tennis elbow

My right elbow is killin me I had it years ago but come back with a vegengance since last year got an appointment to see orthopaedic surgeon on 5 th feb has anyone had surgery ??? I had it back in 2009

My rheumy brought in the surgeon to replace my elbow (40 years of arthritis and my elbow has been bent throughout that time but lately was causing me serious grief). I rejected the approach and have removed the pain and beginning to get strength back with a mixture of whole food plant based diet and hot yoga.
