C0PD and R/A is there a connectionP

Iv had R/A and COPD for 18 year

Although I've asked my doctor if there is a connection had R,/A then chest problems about six months later

I've noticed a lot of people have both ailments although my doctor says no connection

i have Arthritis and COPD as well, I have seen on one of these articles that there is a link between these two illnesses. A lot of people have both illnesses which is a real double whammy!

I have RA and Bronchiectasis, as does my DIL. There is a connection between RA and lung disease, but not specifically COPD. This will tell you more.

Hiya. There is most certainly a connection between RA and lung impairment. RA affects various organs throughout the body. "COPD" is an all embracing non-specific term . May I suggest the extremely helpful Danielle Bryant
