May I ask for your feedback on a joint pain recovery idea I’m working on?

Hello everyone,

I hope it’s okay to post this here — if not, I fully understand and I’ll happily remove it.

I’m currently working on an early-stage idea for a health recovery tool that focuses on joint pain and arthritis support. Before going any further, I wanted to reach out directly to people who truly understand these challenges — like the members of this community.

The concept I’m exploring involves two things:

✅ Tracking joint health and inflammation over time, with the aim of helping people notice patterns or changes they might otherwise miss.

✅ Combining this with red light therapy, which some studies suggest may help reduce inflammation and support healing.

I’ve put together a very short (2-minute) survey to learn whether something like this could be helpful — and to hear what people actually need (or don’t need) when it comes to joint recovery tools.

If it’s okay with the moderators and the community, I would be grateful for the chance to share the survey link here. But if surveys aren’t allowed, I completely respect that — and I appreciate the time you took to read this either way.

Surveys like yours are ok.

You are not trying to sell anything.

It will take time for people to get up to speed and to engage.

They are quite a bright bunch here!😎😝

You could ask administrator - see here - but the only thing that may be an issue is if you are promoting anything which would give you personal gain… ie. Are you working for the company that produces the device?

I’ll have a look at survey as an osteoarthritis sufferer - anything that helps is a great idea. I guess you’ve contacted other organisations like versusarthritis site-

As your profile states Finland as place of residence, I’m guessing you are looking Europe wide? So any charity that deals with osteoarthritis in those countries, plus depending on time, cost and bureaucracy perhaps relevant health authorities in individual countries.

There are a couple of other forum on HU as well -

You probably also need to expand your survey to other chronic illnesses that cause pain - many come under the umbrella of rheumatology.
