Hi People, I've just been diagnosed with Arthritis of the the neck at the age of 43yrs, I have no idea what that means for the future?

Hi Jimmyjimmy, Thank you for your reply. I was just told I have disc problems in the top part and lower part of my neck and that I have Arthritis in my neck, probably due to lifting a lot most of my working life?

P.s that is a really good point, how come the doc didn't state which kind of Arthritis it was? Only because I was a tad shocked I didn't ask!!!

I have osteoarthritis in my neck, I was shocked too, but it not as bad as I thought it would be, it really only wear and tear a lot of people get it in third forties.

Find out what type it is. I manage mine very well.

Hi. I also age arthritis. Osteoarthritis and I'm also 43. My arthritis has cause a medical condition which is called stenosis. Basically means trapped nerves. I also have rheumatoid arthritis which is more wear and tear and alot of people have this as they age. Have you found out anymore about yours? What are your symptoms? Here to help if I can x
