Hi all. Quite new on here. Finally got a referral to rheumatology after two yrs of pain. Had nuclear bone scan which must have showed something cos have to go for ultrasound scans on hands feet and hip. I already have synovitis on my spine. Can anyone tell me what could have shown up on my nuclear scan and why i need ultrasounds too. Could it be rheumatoid maybe ????. Blood test was normal

Thanks guys

Hi madden, try hard not to anticipate results. It can be any number of things. The scan has indicated you have erosion. If your bloods are normal it can be seronegative RD or perhaps osteoarthritis. Or any number of eighty autoimmune conditions. Your Rheumatologist will tell you after all the tests are complete.
