I have seen the program the other day about the doctor and that pain killers to not help. What about fentanyl? I would lke so much being myself again because I do believe that fentanyl has changed me - most likely not for the better.

I know what you mean Sammy. I've been on Fentanyl almost a year. I've changed from being a placid easy going person into a bag of nerves, scared of everything and crying all the time. I wish I had the courage to reduce the dose gradually until I'm off it. I have 50 mcg and Oramorph twice a day, paracetamol, and still in pain.
I thank you for your quick reply, it's helpful to share some of the concerns about fentanyl and pain relief. I tried twice to reduce the mgs but the pain became so bad and the muscle spasms almost unbearable that I gave up. I have tried now to exercise each time when the pain starts and the movement seems to help . For me the worst are the sleepness nights because of pain and the quite frequent attacks of nausea. I too have been crying but quite often out of desparation. Tell me what else you have tried. I agree with you paracaeatamol does not help nor does codipar and naproxin. I really have tried everything before getting on fentanyl. I am on the patches because the tablets cause pain in the stomac. Does this bothers you as well?
