I think I need some help. I don’t know what’s happened but I seem to be back where i was a long time ago. I saw my doctor today shesdoubled my meds to 600 tonight said that might help but my heads just confused. I can’t think straight at the moment I can’t text properly my fingers keep tapping the wrong keys the dancing ballerina is back dancing around my head singing and dancing I can’t keep focused on much but her 😣

Hello Bumblebeeee

Good to hear from you though I’m so sorry you’re not feeling well. I’m glad you were able to see your doctor today for support. Is he / she going to refer you for the thoughts you are having about the ballerina? I think medication is a help but talking and getting your thoughts out in the open might be good for you?

I know it’s late now but can you distract yourself, or perhaps your medication will be a way for you to relax and sleep tonight? If you need help during the night the Samaritans are there 24 /7 on 116 123 or email jo@smaritans.org/.

Take good care of yourself Bumblebeeee .... we all know it’s not easy and it’s ok not to be ok. It’s not your fault, you just need a lot of good care.

Hi Bumblebeeee

I’m sorry to hear this. It’s really good you’ve already sought help and seen your doctor today, hopefully the medication will help.

Are you able to distract yourself with some music or some kind of activity to try and calm your mind a bit? Do you have someone you can contact if it would help to talk? Do reach out for support if you need it.

I hope you can get some rest.

Thinking of you,

Jenny x

Hi BumblebeeeeHope you managed some rest last night. I am sorry to hear you are not feeling well at the moment. But you'll climb out of this one. Let the medication work, and with time and support things will get better.

Reach out here whenever you need to, we are all here to listen

Hello Bumblebeeee. I’m so sorry you’re unwell, but what everyone has said is so true, you are getting the help you need to feel better. Increasing the meds is sometimes the right thing to do - where would we be without them?!

And it’s been a hell of a year. The stress has made my condition worse too. It’s not your fault and it won’t be forever. You will feel better. I hope when full lockdown eases in a few days you’ll be able to do more things to help yourself.

Well done for staying in bed and resting, even tho you can’t sleep. I don’t have experience of what you’re going through so please forgive me if this is way off, but maybe journaling would keep you busy today, or a jigsaw? God bless 🙂

Thank you for helping me as always. I have decided I’m going to buy paint today and wallpaper bits and decorate my whole flat today as looking at it is making me stressed. The person who lived here before has done a rubbish job of painting and non of the lines are straight and it’s really bugging me so I’m going to paint it all today and get it looking nice x

Hello again, dearest Bumblebeeee,

I am so sorry you are feeling poorly. How are you doing with your decorating???

Funnily enough I've been doing exactly the same. I am going to change my dining area into a purposeful art studio beside dining :-) Up and down strokes I find extremely relaxing and it makes me happy. The focus of physical activity destructs my busy mind.

Sometimes I need to do a lot of cognitive stuff and then I have the urge again in doing practical things including cleaning...and there is a lot to do, especially when preparing for the advent time. It all makes me happy!

Just to let you know you are not on your own and we are always here! Oh, I've forgotten to say I completed the painting in the living room. Extremely satisfying when there is fresh paint on the wall and dust gone :-)

Ah bless you. How long have you lived with this- is it psychotic episodes that come and go ?

Or is it constant everyday ?
