Nearly two weeks into sertraline

The side effects seem to be lessening abit. I’m not quite as anxious and eating a tiny bit now compared to before. Still quite apprehensive and full of self doubt. Due back in work in two weeks and having my grandson babysitting next week. It’s amazing the self doubt that you can put on yourself and the affect it can have on you. Trying to remain positive but the insomnia is catching up with me. Trying to not take sleeping tablets nightly. Hoping to have hypnosis to help. Thinking off anyone else going through this.

Do you mind if I ask why you took it and how long before you felt it

I took it for anxiety, panic attacks and depression I had mild side effects for couple weeks then I felt no anxiety at all and my mood lifted , I just could not cope with the weight gain

Could I please ask did you have any joint or spine pain with taking sertraline?

in reply to Gg4l

No none at all. Just nausea, knotted stomach, headaches, disturbed sleep with night sweats. And feeling generally crap.

I did not have any of that with sertraline, yet I have suffered that with prozac and I still have it weeks after stopping it. I am now trying venlafaxine
