Back here again. . . Abersoch take two x

Well after being told off! Thought I would post to say we have come on our annual October holiday to Abersoch and I’m quite anxious as last time we were here I was on a break from the MBU. Arrived today and there are so many reminders from last year as we are only staying a stones away from the last cottage we stayed in were I constantly phoned the MBU to say I was struggling. I’ve had to go out a few times for a breather and I’m struggling to sleep but I am hopeful for a better holiday than last year. Hope for all and I will keep you posted x x

Hi Bethany

That is really hard coping with memories from last holiday when you were in a difficult place.

I really hope though that you can forge some new memories, and that you can manage to relax a bit, and sleep OK too.

Thinking of you, take care,

Ellie X

Good morning Bethany,

memories can be a trigger.

However, we can build a new path, - it happened to me.

Before PPP, I always call that my previous life, I went on a holiday. It supposed to be a life time holiday, but it was not. I returned to the location with my partner, at the time new partner a couple of years later . New memories were installed and it was one of the happiest memories.

Maybe you could try and focus on the present moment. I always try to do that, - I can not change the past, but use it as an instrument of experience. strings can be tuned again, so can we :-)

Enjoy the beauty of nature,

bye for now,

x
