Hi all I'm new to this group, I've been taking 20mg of fluoxetine for 2 years, my doctor has recently increased it to 40mg, just wondering if anyone else has increased to 40mg and did they get any extra side effects. Thanks

I was put on 40 mg of fluoxetine 3 weeks ago. Week 1 was fine. Week 2 was low appetite. I am on week 3 and its nausea and no appetite. I went to the doctor and she says to give it 2 months!!!!! Is this accurate? Did it get easier?
