Sertraline - Can reducing the dose of sertraline affect your memory?

I have gradually reduced my dose of sertraline from 100mg to 50mg per day. I feel fine and well but I have noticed my memory is really poor all of a sudden. I put this down to poor sleep - I'm 50 and have to get up tp pee more often in the night. But I'm not sleeping any worse than I was before the reduction in sertraline. Coould it be that reducing the dose has (temporarily?) affected my memory?

Hello :-)

Just the same as side effects when going on meds you can get them when coming of them

It could be causing it but I would not worry to much , I am sure things will level out again :-)

Take Care x
