Drinking while on Zoloft

Hello everyone I been on Zoloft for 4 years now and I was told that I couldn’t drink alcohol but lately I been going out often and I been drinking not a whole lot but I have been drinking some.. Has anyone else drank while on these meds? Is it bad that I’m doing it? If anyone can give me there advice option or experience with this plZ

I am on these and do drink. Unless there is a specific reason given not to ie it will make you ill, then I can't see a problem. A doctor once told me the reason why they say no drinking is coz you go to the toilet more often so the med gets flushed out of your system quicker.

Having said that I find I get more drunk and more tired easily now when I drink, but that could be down to age too.

I have been on Zoloft for about 10 months and I drink . But yer I def can’t drink like I used to . And I know other people on them and drink .
