Venlafaxine Slow Release

Hi, I’m taking Venlafaxine xl slow release 37.5 x 2, is it best to take 75mg in one go or one 37.5 in the morning and one in evening, as thinking of missing tonight’s and taking 75mg in the morning, I started on 37.5mg once a day, I took it before bed but now my dose has been upped to 75mg

Sounds to me if the daily dose has been increased it should be taken in one dose.

That would be daily not twice a day.

Best source to answer the question for you is your md.

Easier to call and get the answer as to how they want you to take it.

I had a very bad reaction to venaflaxine & anxiety was through the roof, ended up under a psychiatrist now on & been on sertraline & aripiprazole for couple years made such a difference to me.

Different medicines work differently for everyone. I wish you well x

I take venlafaxine slow release (225mg) once a day in the morning but I do recall when I first started on it, I took it twice a day when building up the dosage. X
