i was given these tablet as the other ones were not doing anything..i started taking these yesterday 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening and today i feel very dizzy / light headed...does anyone else take these know if it could be a side effect?

Hi Francesca, I take venlaflaxine and you’re right in thinking these could be side affects. You mention you’ve just changed, have you completely stopped your other ones or are you weaning off one and increasing the other? It could be the side affects from coming off of your other meds. I would give yourself a few days/week and see if the side affects lessen and if they don’t I would recommend going to see your gp x

ah I never weaned off of the others as he said as I had only been on them 4 weeks i could go straight onto these ones....its eased up abit now after a long walk am hoping it is just a side effect of them

See I was on mine for a few months before changing. It probably is just the side affects or you changing. I would stick with it and monitor to see if they get better/worse then think about seeing your gp.

I been on this medication for 9 weeks. When I first started it gave me super tired and zombie like. That went away after a few days. Then I increased to 75mg and the same thing happened for a couple of days. Yesterday I went up to 112.5mg and I’m feeling the same. Tired,zombie like and a bit dizzy from the tiredness. I’m hoping it goes away in a couple of days

thank you for ur message...ive take 75mg in the morning and 75mg in the evening i guess it quite a high dose for my body to get use too 😁

Maybe he should have tried 112.5 before 150

I take that pill 300 mg a day. I started at 75. Yes that's side sffects. Before you go to far getting off this pi ll is he'll bad with drawal but it worked good for me also it will take like a month to kick in not instant been on for 10 years

Wow I thought 150mg was high...i have been on about 3 other medications this will be my 4th attempt am hoping they work ☹ nothing seems to work for my aniexty
