I definitely know I dont have bipolar or manic depression because I dont have the symptoms described on the nhs. I do however think I may have Seasonal Affective Disorder and Clinical depression and stress and otitis externa. With all of these together I feel a bit under the weather at the moment. I have diagnosed myself on these things as no doctor or mental health professional seems to have any idea because they just label depression as the common cause. Obvs they only meet me for about 10 mins and dont really know how I am suffering becausebits hard to describe when I am really poorly. What do you guys thinks about this?

What exactly are the ways you feel? And is it something that lasts f9r longer than 2 weeks and effects your daily life? And most people experience stress during there life. Now anxiety and such is a whole different thing. But what do you mean you have stress? Last thing is telling a professional is the best thing, and unfortunately 19 min is pretty standard for how busy they are. They are trained to ask specific things to narrow down and diagnose you pretty fast. If you feel they were dismissive, I'd get another opinion but a doctor is going to be far more accurate than any of us here can be. Not to mention I'd hate to tell you that you had something you didn't.
You are taught I am going to phone the g.p to get an appointment asap. I feel a bit unreal, eyelids really heavy and hard to wake up, I feel like I have shorter patience with my children and the noise they make in the car and at home. I am not able to put my energies into cooking decent food for the family at the moment and just want to hide from the world. I feel tired my husband says my urine smells stronger than normal which is a sure sign I always get, it's like my hormones are reacting somehow and it's all familiar but weird. I have had clinical depression for over 10 years and the sertraline I thought was working but all of a sudden I think I had a panic attack or similar and I have changed from the assertive happy person able to go to work and care for the family to feeling unwell. I will update you asap. Thanks for your reply. It's nice to know someone is listening.
Well there you go, if you have a diagnosis already and talking meds, it sounds like they aren't working. Everything you describe could be signs of depression obviously since you have it. I'm not convinced it's hormpnes.
No defo anxiety and depression. I have had an increase of 50mg from the doctor so hopeful this will help my horrible symptoms.
I'm having a blood test organised as I am of the age where peri menopausal symptoms could be an issue. I work for the NHS so dont waste their time unless it's absolutely necessary. I know how busy they all are. Pleased with the outcome so far and hope the extra dose helps me.
