Hi I’m 4 weeks today since starting Zoloft . Have had a few side effects . But I’m still struggling to eat a whole dinner . I’m feeling hungry when I start cooking tea , dish it up and have about 4 mouthfuls and I feel as if I want to be sick . Tea time is the worst . Does anyone else get this ?

Struggling to eat .....Zoloft
Yeah. Anorexia can be one of the initial side effects. It should go away within 6 to 8 weeks of starting Zoloft. I know you're still fairly new on it.
Try eating several small meals throughout the day. Keep easy things on hand to grab whenever you do feel hungry. Fruit. Granola bars. Hard boiled eggs. Mixed nuts. Things you can grab as soon as the hunger hits that are high caloric value and high in nutrients. It does go away/ get better but it can be worrying at first.
Thankyou for that . I really hope it gets better soon .
I was the same as you you always tea time could feel it coming on at 3 thinking about making a meal it can take a while to get over it but does get better I can eat now no bother but still have a bad day now and again but nothing like the early days it will get better good luck X
