so that it can take effect are 6 weeks, and its effect is not pleasant, nausea, dizziness, loss of appetite, insomnia

I am in the third week, the effect my body needs is not yet started, but the side effects are, and they are ugly

Never heard of it being given for anxiety before. Only epilepsy and chronic pain.

Even before I was diagnosed, 2 Neuro's put me on it for the burning feet issue. They wanted me on it round the clock. It made me so loopy legged and drunk, I had to come off of it that way. I do take it at night, which is not what they wanted, but it helps me sleep. I take 100 mg at supper, then 200 mg at bedtime. It helps with the hot and burning feet.

I've been on Gabapentin since start of December last year to help with anxiety. I take 400 mg 3 x daily. Only side effect I have is short term memory loss. Am going to review my meds in 3 months' time & probably come off it + the Seroquel I take at night. I want to just take one form of medication by tge end if summer - Duloxetine - which has really helped my anxiety, depression & mood disorder. The other 2 were given to support the Duloxetine which has,worked well but I don't want to be on all these meds.

I have noticed, only 2nd 100mg pull taken, reduced anxiety and the short term memory loss stuff. Little drowsy a bit too but I take mertazapine at night also. Here's hoping this helps settle stuff out.

Yes, could be combination with Mirtazipan - maybe check with your Dr? Really hope things work out o.k. for you.
