Uping my citalopram dose

I am on 20mg citalopram and have been for roughly 8 months now. I feel like my anxiety is slowly coming back. Has anyone had this ? Did you up your dose ? Do you get side effects from going up?

Hello I was on 20mg of citalopram for 18 months I upped my dosage from 10mg also and at first I felt like my anxiety was bad but give it a few weeks you will start to feel a massive improvement! I had a few side effects like tiredness, shaking hands and stuff like that but side effects can be different for everyone

I took citalopram 20mg for a few years, until it stopped being effective. Dosage was upped to 40 mg. I might as well have been taking a sugar pill for all the good it did. So I stopped taking them, altogether, after tapering off. Magnesium and G.A.B.A does a better job, for me anyway.
