Chronic cough for 9 years! Finally free

I started taking celexa 9 years ago when I was 27. I started coughing after I got on it. I had bronchitis at the same time and thought it was from that. The cough lasted and never went away. I have been to so many doctors and specialists about my chronic cough. I would have 5-6 coughing fits a day and it has ruined my life. I wasn't able to do a lot of things. Like play with my kids like basketball or swimming or just any little thing because of my cough. It was embarrassing because I would have to worry about going places in public and people got used to it at work and home. I ran out of it a couple of weeks ago and kept forgetting to get it refilled. I noticed a few days of not having it I was not coughing. I have been off of it since then. I will never get back on it because it took so many years of my life to find out it was a terrible side effect from celexa. I can finally breathe and I'm free from my cough that has taken 9 years of my life. If you are experiencing the same thing please read this. Talk to your doctor about it and stop taking it. I hope this helps.
