I was on amitriptyline, a very effective anti-anxiety anti-depressant that's been around since the 1960s and is coming back into popularity as it has fewer side effects than other meds. I don't believe it matters what time you take it, I used to divide the dose between immediately going to bed at night and first thing in the morning. No problem. It does make you feel a bit tired but not so that it interferes with your day and it gives you dry mouth. You should find this a helpful med.

Thanks for the info! Nice to know it’s a good med! I’m happy to suffer with abit of a dry mouth to help myself :) I’ve originally been given it for headaches etc but could help more problems so happy to be taking it :) thanks again!
