stress and anxiety

I find that when I drive to a vacation I am less anxious driving but on the way home as soon as the traffic hits I feel anxious not all the time but when I drive back from seeing my mom near the beach. I love the beach but its were my brother who passed on lived and it was a way my mother tried to keep close to him during his alcoholism, many experiences were rough and sad due to his illness. I guess I get triggered and then I get anxiety symptoms and they come out when stressed its been several months since I had symptoms and I know they come and go and so much depends on my attitude towards them, not feeling weak or shamed. The stress of living with two addicts and watching them pass leaving me with the job to care for my mom stresses me and I need to adapt a new self care method versus pushing myself to the point of exhaustion.
